I am a second-year mathematics Ph.D. student at the University of Utah. I hold a master's degree in communication engineering from the Graduate Institute of Communication Engineering at National Taiwan Univerisity, where I also completed my bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with a minor in mathematics. During my graduate studies, I had the privilege of working with Prof. Hao-Chung Cheng on quantum tomography and Prof. Borching Su on optimization in signal processing. My master's thesis focused on developing an optimization algorithm for radar waveform design and analyzing its performance.
My research interests revolve around probability theory and theoretical statistics. I am particularly intrigued by their applications in biology and finance. I find great joy in developing mathematical models that can be studied analytically, as they allow me to explore the fascinating intersections of mathematics and other fields.
In addition to my academic pursuits, I have a passion for reading, biking, music, and nature. I particularly appreciate the beauty of trees and have a soft spot for tigers.
